Before joining The Times in the spring of 2017, I was an investigative reporter and deputy investigations editor at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
I started my career at the Stillwater Gazette, a small daily newspaper in Stillwater, Minn. I've also worked at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and the Chicago Tribune.
